 These men will not escape! They speed up their pace into a half-run, half-walk towards the intersection where you are standing. As they round the corner, they start to walk again at a more sedate pace, trying to blend into a small crown that has gathered to watch the commotion.

A few parked cars line the road. One of the men pauses for a second, stops and approaches a car. An old clunker that has not been roadworthy for several years. An easy target to steal. The siege further down is a magnet for peoples’ attention, the two men not even warranting the slightest glance.
